We have updated the areas impacted to include parts of Kansas and Minnesota. Some of Ship Watchers’ clients have expressed concern over the message within the UPS Billing email that states they will lose access to their PDF viewable statements (paperless) come May 29th, 2009. All clients with Ship Watchers will not loose access to any PDF statement if subscribed to this feature within our network. Several upgrades to our network will take place starting tomorrow and will last over the weekend. It appears from the FedEx releases and our contacts that no shipments were damaged by the fire that did ignite on the plane once it crashed in Lubbock, Texas this morning. Damages may have occurred to shipments within the ATR-42 twin turboprop. We will continue to monitor this issue and bring any further details to clients that may be impacted by this issue.
