The holiday calendars are out and as usual Ship Watchers is putting it all in one place. When contacting the carriers the following results were recorded by the RankCarriers.com for our client reports on carrier results.
Question to carriers: Independence Day Observed – Do you as a carrier observe the 5th as a non-operational day (no pick up and delivery)?

*Call note: UPS has Independence Day Observed on the Holiday Calendar given out to shippers. The agent whom answered the question said that the calendar is wrong in saying it is a UPS Holiday and normal operations are occurring on that day.
